什么是SAT拼分?

　　SAT成绩是用于申请美国大学的考试一项重要成绩，大部分院校都需要申请者递交SAT成绩。但是对于考过SAT的同学来说，在送分的时候需要考虑的不仅是这所学校是否需要SAT成绩，更要考虑这所学校是否接受SAT拼分的问题。　　

　　1.Highest Section Scores Across Test Dates — Version 1(Highest M, CR, W)

　　大学会提取申请者提交的所有SAT考试成绩的一部分分数，即所有成绩中单门的分数相加(但大学会参考申请者提交的所有成绩)。申请者可以自由提交任何想提交给大学的新的更数。

　　2.Highest Section Scores Across Test Dates — Version 2(Highest M, CR, W)

　　大学会提取申请者所有提交的SAT考试成绩的一部分分数，即所有成绩中单门的分数相加。只有申请者的的一次分数会作为最后录取的依据(意味着大学只参看你提交的部分分数)。申请者每提交一次更数，大学都会更新分。(强烈建议每获得一次更高SAT成绩都提交。)

　　3. Single Highest Test Date — Version 1(Sum of M+CR+W)

　　大学将提取申请者的单次SAT考试总分成绩(包括数学，阅读和写作)。但大学会参考申请者提交的每一次的成绩。申请者可以自由提交自己认为可用的分数给大学。

　　4. Single Highest Test Date — Version 2(Sum of M+CR+W)

　　大学将提取申请者的单次总分成绩(包括数学，阅读和写作)。只有的分数会作为最后录取的依据(意味着大学只参考申请者一次的分数)。申请者每提交一次更数，大学都会更新新的分。(强烈建议申请者每获得一次更高SAT成绩都提交。)

　　5. All Scores Required for Review

　　大学认为申请者所有的SAT考试成绩都要进行审查，并要求申请者提交所有日期的所有SAT考试成绩。

　　6. Contact Institution for Information

　　关于大学如何使用SAT成绩需申请者与大学联系。

　　而在以上六种政策中，采取或第二种政策的大学就是所谓的允许“拼分”的大学。换句话说，所谓的SAT拼分，就是用各次SAT考试中每部分的分拼凑出一个总分。

SAT考试结束后，EA/ED成绩不久便可以送了。如何送分?为计划起见，看看学校网站上的正式要求。

　　Score Choice是College Board用于送成绩的。From Collegeboard: "Score Choice is a score-reporting feature that gives students the option to choose the SAT scores by test date and SAT Subject Test scores by individual test that they send to colleges."

　　送分有几种形式。大体有三种：

　　1)Superscore, 大陆地区俗称“拼分”。可以把不是同一次考的单项(math，reading，writing)成绩作为SAT的总成绩。Super Score是一些大学AO用于Evaluate Applicant的方法。

　　2)Highest single sitting，可以挑的一次送，但必须是同一天考的。

　　3)All scores，全送，不能挑。大藤要求送all scores，但他们只在所有考试中选的同一天考试的那一次。如普林斯顿的官方网站：

　　Applicants are welcome to use the score choice option for standardized test score submission. Princeton will consider the highest individual section results across all sittings of the SAT Reasoning and the highest composite score for the ACT with Writing, as well as the two highest SAT Subject Test scores. We encourage applicants to submit all official test scores as soon as they are available
