　　物理问答题会要求学生在七十五分钟内完成9道简答题。这9道题目并不再像选择题一样考察单一的知识点，反而更加注重学生对多个知识点的综合运用能力。虽然这种问题听起来非常的麻烦，但是好 消息是，这样的一道大题，通常分割成了若干个小题，每一个小题都是递进的关系引导你走向最后的答案。

　　学生需要做的就是在定位之后把公式从知识库中提取出来并且把正确的量带进公式。

　　问答题中会出现的另一种问题就是简答题。通过使用不同的command words，这些问题要求我们的学生使用不同的方式用英文简单的回答它提出的问题。大家经常会在物理中看到的command words会有：Define, State, Describe, Explain等。在做这些问题的时候，先寻找它的command words，这会告诉你这道题大致的答题结构，并减少你的答题时间。

　　在看到Define这个词的时候，学生只需要写出计算公式即可。比如说define weight，我们就只需要写上如何计算出weight的公式，W=mg就可以了，这种问题的分一般是在一分左右，比较简单。如果学生看到describe这个词，则需描述你看到的东西就好了，并不需要添加任何的解释，因为describe这个commands words之下，任何的解释都是不给分的。Describe之后通常是explain的问题。这个时候学生就需要注意了，因为它比describe问题更加的难答分数也更加的高。如果describe问题想要你回答发生了什么，那么explain的问题就需要你回答为什么这个会发生。

　　比方说这样一道题：Eric hasjust blown up a balloon. The air inside the balloon is at a temperature of 18. Describe what will happen if he places the balloon into afreezer which is at a temperature of -18. Answer: The volume of the balloon willdecrease.(发生了什么)。

　　接着这道题问：Explain your answer to the previous question (about what happenswhen the balloon is placed into the freezer) Answer, As the temperature of theair inside the balloon decreases, so does its pressure. (1) Because thepressure inside the balloon is lower than that of the surrounding air. (1), aforce will be exerted on the balloon which will cause its volume to decrease.(1).(when the pressure inside and outside the balloon are equal to one another,this resultant force will fall to zero and the volume of the balloon will nolonger decrease).
