　　To glimpse exotic cultures, some deem that overseas travels are no longer necessary since TV and internet have made everything possible. However, while people can enjoy certain convenience brought by such cutting-edge technologies, they may also risk losing some other essential things that in-person experience can offer.

However, online experience is overshadowed by the in-person one, owing to the atmosphere. It is the whistle of a bird or the red brick embedded in an ancient wall that can spark a person’s sense of connection with the exotic natural landscape or the history witnessed by the wall having stood on this land for centuries, thus opening the door tofull immersion; this, nevertheless, is entirely impossible with a cold screen no matter how vivid the images it can present.
