雅思作文里表达“所以”只会用so, therefore, thus, hence这些词。

　　Simon给写作班同学改作业的时候。发现不少同学在表示“因此”的时候，会用到：“therefore”，“As a result”，“So”， “Hence”，“Thus” 这些词汇。 几乎所有参加雅思写作的同学都逃不过这几个表达词汇。

　　除了这几个可以表示“结果”的词汇之外，Simon今天还想给大家补充一个好用且高级的表达：

　　It follow that

　　这是一个非常固定的表达，意思是“由此得出，由此可以推断出”。可以使用该句式来连接有因果关系的上下文。

　　比如

　　If we have compassion for the vulnerable, it follows that we will seek justice for them.

　　如果我们对弱势群体富有同情心，那么我们将会为他们伸张正义。

　　看到这里，其实大家已经基本可以理解It follows that的使用方式。 整体来说，it follows that 所以强调的逻辑，“由前文内容所推断出来的” 所以不是一个强硬的逻辑观点表达。 所以在语气上，it follows that 比so，therefore，hence这些词汇的语气稍微弱一些。

　　It follows that 可以单独使用，但是也可以和so这个连词共同使用

　　比如：

　　It was where I grew up, so it follows that it must be a place that at least partly shaped who I am today.

　　那是我长大的地方，所以由此这个地方至少一定程度上塑造了如今的我。

　　有的时候也可以和and连用, 与上文并列

　　总结一下，it follows that 可以表示“由此，因此” 是一个可以单独成句的结构，也可以借助and，so， and thus，and therefore 等连词表达，跟随前一个句子。
