Meanwhile,thanks to fatter tax collections as the economy recovers, strides can be made by the government in perfecting social welfare system and enhancing infrastructure. Mentally, when citizens get satisfaction in matter life, highly civilized spiritual life has become what people pursue. In the past, never would the general public imagine going to a movie, a concert or a museum, but now, with abundant materials benefited from economic growth, such cultural consumption can be easily accessible.

Worse still, economic accumulation would tempt people to seek other irrational excuses to obtain materialistic satisfaction which includes luxuries like fancy handbags and limousines with whopping price. In this case, the weight on economic prosperity and consumerism , a devastating blow to traditional values such as frugality, is bound to shape a money-oriented society .
