In terms of full-time employment, the European average for men (40.4 hours) was slightly higher than that for women (39.2 hours). Greece recorded the highest gender disparity, with men working 42.5 hours, compared to 39.9 hours for women. In contrast, the UK showed the smallest gender gap, with men working 37.5 hours and women 37 hours. The Netherlands was the only country where full-time hours were equal for both genders(38 hours).

In part-time roles, both genders in the three countries worked fewer hours than European average. Among them, in Greece, part-time workers recorded the highest working hours, with men averaging 30 hours—0.7 hours more than women. A similar pattern was observed in the UK, where men worked 29 hours, in contrast to 28 hours for women. The Netherlands, however, exhibited an opposite trend, where women worked nearly an hour more than men, with 29.3 and 28.3 hours respectively.
