主语从句

　　在复合句中作主语的名词性从句叫做主语从句(一句话作主语)

　　从句的引导词：

　　表事实用that

　　表选择用whether

　　表疑问用what / who / which / whose / why / where / when / how等

　　that 引导主语从句

　　That the Atlantic Ocean is only half as big as the Pacific Ocean is well known.

　　注：that 是连词;

　　that “三不”原则 —— 在从句中不作成分，不翻译，不能省略

　　**一个主语从句的谓语动词用单数

　　That the Atlantic Ocean is only half as big as the Pacific Ocean is well known.

　　= It is well known that the Atlantic Ocean is only half as big as the Pacific Ocean.

　　注：通常转换为it作形式主语

　　It + be + adj. + that 从句

　　It + be + done + that从句

　　It + be + 名词 + that 从句

　　It + seem (appear / turn out / happen等) + that从句

　　It + be + adj. + that 从句

　　It + be + done + that从句

　　It + be + 名词 + that 从句

　　注：It is necessary / important / surprising / strange / unbelievable / incredible + that从句结构中，从句经常用should+ 动词原形的结构，should可以省略

　　翻译：

　　在人们开始开车之前，适当地训练他们是至关重要的。

　　It is vitally important that people should be properly educated before they start to drive.

　　翻译：
