托福线下考试自从进入2024年一月的中旬后，难度貌似是一次比一次升级!不少小伙伴分数也是一次考的比一次低。但是对于24fall申请的小伙伴来说，一月份再不出分，真的会来不及了吧.......只能祈求一月接下来的两场考试，ETS爸爸能手下留情。

　　1.20的考试有上下午两场，本篇回忆上下午内容都合并在一起，但是还是有较多回忆缺失，希望大家可以积极补充哦!

　　接下来，就一起来看下1.20的托福题目都是什么样的吧!

　　01、阅读

　　1、海龟为什么在夜间进行幼崽孵化。

　　2、一些化石可以反映古代的生态系统情况。例如，脊椎动物的站立姿势化石可能反映当时是否存在沼泽地，煤炭的出现也与特定的植物和生态环境相关，同时考古学家还利用花粉研究来推断当时的气候和植被。

　　Task 2：

　　1、上午场：阅读：关于改变宿舍晚上留宿政策的，大学计划让学生的朋友或亲人留宿不超过3晚，因为会造成室友的不便，但是提供了一个附近酒店的list，之前没有这个限制。

　　听力中男生反对。一是visitors一般很polite，也不太出房间。室友之间可以通过内部协商解决住宿问题，而不需要学校实施过于严格的政策;二是来住宿的人通常不会长时间留在宿舍内，hotel很贵，cannot afford，可能会让他们朋友will not visit。

　　2、下午场：阅读：在学校安装饮水机，好处是可以让学生们用自己的杯子接水;可以督促学生多喝水而不是饮料。

　　听力中不同意。一是学生一直认为买一次性的瓶装水很方便。二是 大家都爱喝带甜味的饮料，安了饮水机也不会很好的改善状况。

　　Task 3：

　　1、上午场：预测性适应假说(关于adaptation的)。动物在紧张的环境下会提高自身水平以应对未来相似的场景。听力举了蜜蜂的例子，一组小时候就挨饿，一组小时候有充足的食物，成年后再给两组蜜蜂一个短期食物短缺测试，小时候挨饿的可以更高效的利用食物，另一组则会更快饿死。

　　2、下午场：阿利效应(Allee Effects)指的是物种到达一定很低的数量就没有办法自行调节恢复了。听力中通过海胆Sea urchins的例子说明，如果人类捕食太多成年海胆就会使幼年海胆失去庇护，最终被掠食者消灭殆尽。

　　Task 4：

　　Teachers should receive salaries on par with other high-earning professionals. They work long hours preparing lessons, grading assignments, and supporting students. Without good teachers, we wouldn't have doctors, lawyers, and executives. If we want to attract the best talent to this invaluable profession, we must compensate teachers accordingly. My favorite teachers inspired me and contributed greatly to my success.

　　Paul:

　　I don't think teachers deserve the same high salaries as doctors or lawyers. Teachers get so much time off, with summer vacations and other long breaks. My aunt is a teacher and she's always posting on Facebook about trips she takes or sleeping in during vacations. With all that time off, teachers shouldn't earn salaries on par with year-round demanding professions.

　　2、下午场：是否认同diverse workforce对公司的效率、生产等有积极影响?

　　Claire支持，因为这会让员工感觉have fun和enjoying。

　　Paul反对，因为会有potential problems，例如员工之间会misinterpret the behavior。

　　游轮公司要开一条新的项目，穿越加拿大北部的一个寒冷地区，但是人们会担心有可能会出现一些问题。阅读提出三个environmental factors：

　　1、有危险，可能会困在冰层或者撞上冰山;

　　2、油轮的发动机在燃烧的时候会污染环境，排放的颗粒加快冰雪的融化;

　　3、船上游客数量比当地居民多很多，下船活动或者采买都会打扰当地居民。

　　听力反驳：

　　1、可以用研究船引导游轮，破冰，及时发现冰山并发出警告;

　　2、可以使用含有低含量硫的燃料，通过让乘客看到冰川融化，北极熊挣扎的场景提高乘客的环保意识;

　　2、下午场：

　　阅读中讲造成虎鲸(Southern Resident Orcas)decline的三个原因：

　　1、化学药剂污染形成的PCB堆积，inhibiting 鲸鱼的reproduce，因为这类虎鲸吃salmon;

　　2、观赏鲸鱼的船越来越多，引擎的声音让他们不能echolocation;

　　3、bacteria infection。

　　听力中反驳：

　　1、当地还生活着其他种类的鲸鱼，他们会摄入更多的化学物质，但都没有影响繁殖;

　　2、科学家测量发现，船只引擎发出的噪音大概跟暴风雨一样大，而暴风雨并不会影响鲸鱼的听觉;

　　3、鲸鱼体内有少量的某种细菌是不会生病的，人们需要确定鲸鱼真的有肺部损伤，但鲸鱼难以被检测，所以也不确定细菌的影响。
