　　There has been some debate about whether the arts or public sectors like health or education are more worthy of government funding (背景). I believe that both fields need to be supported (你的观点).

　　It is imperative for the government to support the arts (TS).For one thing, this investment can strengthen a nation’s cultural identity (R-原因). Specifically, government’s funding for protecting and maintaining works of art will help with keeping the traditions, customs and beliefs embedded in those works alive, thereby preserving the country’s cultural heritage (E-解释).In addition, spending a greater amount of money on the arts would raise people’s standard of living (R-原因). For example, in Vienna, the government devoted an immense amount of funding to establish a wide range of free cultural activities (E-解释). It is these events that provide residents an abundance of opportunities to unwind and find relief from their stress and anxiety (E-解释).

　　Nevertheless, governments should not disregard education and public health (TS).Undeniably; high-quality educational institutions benefit a country’s economy (R).Equipping people with advanced knowledge develops individuals’ expertise, which helps them evolve into capable and competitive employees, thereby enabling them to live comfortable lives and driving overall economic development in the long term (E). Likewise, funding public health is essential (R). Compared with countries that have poor public health systems, countries provide affordable and effective treatments for diseases have healthier populations, and their governments are regarded as more responsible (E). Therefore, developments in both education and health are closely connected to the wellbeing of individuals and society as a whole.

　　In conclusion, neither the value of the arts nor of education and public health can be disregarded (summary).Therefore, government funding needs to be apportioned in all areas appropriately (YO).
