　　If your friend is dropping out of the college, do you think it is a good thing?

　　参考答案：Personally, I'd like to suggest this friend not to drop out of school for two reasons. First, studying in a university can provide him with knowledge in a great number of different areas, such as knowledge in accounting and computer science. What they learn will make them succeed in the future competition. Secondly, he can meet some top professors in his major area in the university.

　　And by listening to these people's lessons, one can broaden his vision and get the latest information in his field. All in all, these are the reasons why I'd like to recommend him keep studying in the university

　　Task 2(重复NA2010.12.03)

　　Do you agree or disagree that assignments handed in after the deadline should receive lower score?

　　参考答案：Personally, I strongly agree with the statement that if student submit their assignments after the deadline, teachers should deduct their scores because of two reasons. First of all, students will be required to do some assignments such as reading some articles or writing some essays. Teachers can help students to review what they have learned in class in time by pushing them to complete projects before the due day. What is more, in this way, teachers can manage their students effectively. However, if teachers do not deduct students' scores when they submit their assignments late, other students will not turn in their assignment on time. In conclusion, I agree that if students do not submit their assignment in time, teachers should deduct their scores.

Prior to the party, parents told her that she should hide her negative emotion when she did not like the gift received. Her grandmother gave her cute clothes as a gift. But the girl did not like it and felt disappointed. Before her negative emotion became too obvious, her mother said the clothes were very cute. The girl suddenly realized that she should say thank you to grandmother and she did that

　　【一个问题】男生的朋友去他寝室玩把他roomie的table lamp弄坏了

　　【解决方案】(1)把家里一个差不多一样的拿来。好处：他roomie也喜欢。坏处：俩台灯有的地方不一样;(2)去商店里去买个new的。坏处：没有一模一样的了，而且expensive。

　　【讲座主题】美国railroad的development

　　【2个原因】(1) 方便商品transport，举例：一个horologe公司自从有了railroad，可以让人都buy他的horologe，不仅仅是那些本地的或周围的，比较远的地方的人们也可以buy;(2) 让公司located in new area，举例：一个公司依靠coal发展，自从有了跌路，他们就可以选择的地点而不是只在煤矿周围建厂，因为railroad运输可以让他们得到coal。
