赵老师：学会用There be 句型，在雅思中的B格

　　一， There be句型的误用;

　　口语表达中受汉语的影响，学生特别容易将有翻译成have/has,遇到某地有某物就直接翻译成了there have/has,这是口语考试中最常见的语法错误，要坚决抵制。

　　Eg.

　　年轻人和老年人之间有一个很大的差异。

　　There has a great difference between the young and the elder. (×)

　　There is a great difference between the young and the elder. (√)

　　There have/has/的用法是错误的，但是我们可以用具体的动词替代be动词，例如可以用there exist 表示“存在...”there appear/emerge 表示“出现...”这种具体的动词在写作和阅读中应用广泛。

　　二， There be 句型+动词转化的名词

　　在写作中有情况会由“人们”、“人”、“有些人”等词汇充当了主语，由于母语的影响，学生会习惯性地出现对应的“people”, “many people”, “some people”等对应表达。但这种泛指的人群充当主语的时候，表达不够客观严谨，可以考虑用there be 句型替换表达。

　　Eg. 越来越多的人反对这一看法. (写作)

　　习惯性直译：More and more people disagree with this opinion.

　　谓语动词disagree 的名词是disagreement，套用公式there be+ disagreement, 再加上其余成分即可得到——作文句子：There is a growing disagreement to this point.

　　Exercise 1. 老年人口比例将会在2030年轻微下降至18%

　　【直译】：The proportion of the old people is expected to decline slightly to 18% in 2030.

　　【there be句型】：There is expected to be a slight decline (in the proportion of the old people) to 18% in 2030.

　　Exercise 2. 观众都在抱怨电视剧中插播过多的广告。(媒体)

　　【直译】Many people complain about the excessive implanted advertisement in TV programs.

　　【there be句型】There is a widespread complaint among audience about the excessive implanted advertisement in TV programs.
